Bio

On July 4th, 2018, Ajay Shenoy was involved in a diving accident in Boulder, CO resulting in an incomplete spinal cord injury (C7 ASIA C). To supplement his natural recovery, Ajay applied to, and was fortunate enough to be enrolled in, the SpineX SCONE study and was a participant from February to May of 2022. Ajay is currently enrolled as a graduate student at the University of California Berkeley where he is studying Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics. He aspires to be a sports dietician and work alongside Paralympic athletes. Outside of the classroom, Ajay can be found rowing, surfing, and mountain biking.
