Cover Your Costs for U2FP's Symposium

One of the things that makes U2FP’s Annual Science & Advocacy Symposium unique is the number of individuals from the SCI community who attend our meeting. Indeed, for the last several years, 30-40% of our conference attendees either live with the injury or are family members/caretakers to someone with an SCI. That community participation is a distinguishing feature of U2FP’s annual meeting, providing direct, lived experience feedback to scientific presenters and a deeper sense of camaraderie than is often found at similar conferences.
By bringing your lived experience into direct conversation with the scientific, regulatory, and biotech communities, you help make U2FP’s Symposium one-of-a-kind. U2FP is committed to ensuring that as many individuals from the SCI community as possible have the opportunity to attend.

That’s why we offer eligible SCI attendees the opportunity to apply for travel grants to our annual meeting. We know the financial barriers that exist for our community and want to give motivated SCI advocates every opportunity to enrich our Symposium through their presence and participation.
