A Time for Gratitude

Matthew Rodreick

As those of us here in the U.S. pause this week to observe our Thanksgiving holiday, we at U2FP would like to express our gratitude to all of you. So many of you support us in this difficult but necessary work to bring about cures for paralysis.

You donate your time, your resources, and your expertise to this growing community of  advocates. It’s a testimony to the powerful things we can do together when we collaborate in new and innovative ways.

A recent, tangible example of your belief in our mission was confirmed last week, when our financial manager, Kathy Christopherson let me know we had succeeded in meeting our $100,000 matching donation challenge! Your generosity allowed us to access the full $100,000 pledge made by an anonymous SCI donor - thank you!

Jake Anderson’s fundraising team (JandyStrong!) made a significant contribution to our matching campaign this year, alongside so many of the folks pictured in the first collage!

Stay tuned, as we’ll be sharing an exciting new vision with you, starting in December.

In the meantime, we hope that everyone is able to relax a little this week and take stock of everything we have to be grateful for. U2FP’s board and staff are genuinely thankful for each of you who are working alongside us to bring about cures for paralysis.

With Gratitude,
