U2FP at Dual Citizen Brewery: March 7, 2025

On Friday, March 7th, 2025, Unite 2 Fight Paralysis is hosting a registration kick-off event at Dual Citizen Brewery for the Medtronic Twin Cities in Motion (TCM) Marathon and 10-Mile races.

Anyone can join us for the kick-off event. We’ll be recruiting racers and celebrating U2FP’s recent success at increased accessibility: TCM is the first marathon in the United States to allow the use of e-assist handcrank wheelchairs - a pioneering achievement!
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors; ask that cute girl you see at the grocery store or the hot dude at your gym. Drink some good beer and learn about how U2FP is helping to accelerate functional recovery after spinal cord injury.
Then consider supporting our important work by signing up to run or roll with Team U2FP. We need to recruit 17 people to race with us for this year's TCM Marathon and 10-Mile races (happening October 5th, 2025). I know we can do it if we start our registration period off strong!
I’ll be there with our Operations Director Lucia Webb, who worked for years with the Twin Cities Marathon administrators to include a broader range of athletes. This is the only marathon in the United States that allows participants to use any mobility device: racing wheelchairs, handcycles, battery-powered wheelchairs and battery-powered hand cycles! So if you have limited mobility and have wanted to compete in a nationally recognized race - this is the event for you!
U2FP needs you to help raise awareness for our organization. Your fundraising efforts will support our ongoing work - especially our Cure Advocacy Network, which has now passed SCI Research Grant bills in four states totaling over $40 Million (watch this 2 minute video to learn how it works). And we’re poised to pass another $3M bill in Wisconsin this year. Your participation in Team U2FP could help make the difference!
