Want to try something new, without the pressure of a formal race, but with the structure and encouragement of teammates? Check out Team U2FP’s Freestyle Challenge, a DIY race event that you can tailor to be as creative or challenging as you like!

In the Freestyle Challenge, participants can design their own event, be it running or wheeling a 5k around your favorite lake, paddleboarding in the pacific, long-distance adaptive trailriding, mountain climbing, or trying out all the taco trucks in town!

You’ll be a part of the Team U2FP community, with invites to zoom happy hours where you can meet your fellow athletes and learn about the great work U2FP is doing.

And while the official event weekend is August 21-22 - don’t let a schedule conflict deter you. Your Freestyle Challenge can happen whenever is optimal for your training and scheduling needs.

The most important thing is that you’ll be raising awareness and funds for U2FP along this journey. It’s a great way to educate your friends and family about Spinal Cord Injury and the work that is being done on curative research.

As a member of Team U2FP, you’ll receive:

  • A Personalized Fundraising Page
  • A Team U2FP Performance Shirt
  • A Fundraising Guide
  • Invitations to Team U2FP Happy Hour events via zoom
  • Support along the way!
